Hunts

Double H Outfitters has a long and successful history with archery, muzzle loader, and rifle hunting for antelope, deer, elk, black bear, and mountain lions. We typically hunt in Game Management Units (GMU’s) 1, 2, 201, 3, 301, 4, 441, 10, 11, 12, 13, 131, 15, 21, 22, 23, and 211. Check out our locations and accommodations.

We are also involved with the Ranching for Wildlife program on some of our leases, allowing us to provide extended hunting seasons. Hunts range in length from 3 to 7 days. Call or email for additional details about available dates and costs for any of our hunts.

Elk

We offer a wide variety of elk hunts in some of the most sought-after areas in the West. We harvest 4×4 to 6×6 bull elk. In trophy areas we strive for a 350-class bull or better. Hunting starts in September and, for some hunts, continues into January.

Mule Deer

We see a great number of deer, often seeing bucks in the 160 to 190 class. We can connect you with landowner vouchers for tags, so you don’t have to wait for the draw. Our deer hunts start in October and run through Mid-November. We only harvest a few mule deer off each ranch so the hunts book quickly.

Antelope

With over 500,000 acres of private and BLM land in some of the most productive units in the state, we can promise you a great hunt. We focus on GMU’s 2, 201, 3, 301, 11, and 211. Most of these units take 10-18 years to draw a tag. We can connect you with landowner vouchers so you can get a tag without the wait! We strive to harvest 70 inch or better, with our best scoring 88 inches. These hunts start in August and run into October.

Mountain Lion

These hunts are unlike any other. Mountain Lion hunts start in late November and go through March 31st. Weather conditions are a huge factor so we only offer 10 lion hunts each year. We hunt on 200,000 private and BLM acres with nearly perfect success. We hunt with a large string of professionally trained well-bred hound dogs with bloodlines dating back to Van Johnson, Jeff Allen, Dale Cameron, and the one and only David Hill. This is an adventure you don’t want to miss.

Black Bear

Prime opportunities to harvest a black bear vary by location. We often have clients that will add a bear tag to another hunt. It’s best to call us so we can discuss a tailored hunt for you.

Combination Hunts

For the hunter that would like to harvest more that one species in a season, we do offer a limited number for combination hunts.

Call us so we can talk over your interest in this unique opportunity.
